I am writing to advise of a series of regional consultations being held by Family Safety Victoria (FSV) in October 2017.

Sessions will be used to discuss current whole-of-government reforms including the redevelopment of the Family Violence Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework, as well as the establishment of the Support and Safety Hubs and the 10-Year Family Violence Industry Plan. Particular emphasis will be placed on exploring how formal and informal relationships in smaller communities impact on the assessment and management of family violence risk.

These sessions follow a series of CBD- based workforce readiness sessions on the to inform the redevelopment of the Family Violence Risk Assessment and Management Framework, held in August and September.

Further information regarding consultation dates, locations and registration can be found in the attached letter. It would be appreciated if you could circulate this to your networks as appropriate, and please let us know if there is anyone you would like us to send directly.

Any queries can be directed to Madelaine Curnow at Family Safety Victoria -
