Information for Organisations attending a Community Connections Expo (CCE) to promote their services:
·        Tables and chairs will be provided at the Host Venue for you to use, these will be set up around the edges of the room prior to your arrival (standard arrival time is approx 10-15 minutes prior to event starting)

·        An A3 sized page with Organisations name and main programs/services will be attached to the front of tables, outlining where you are meant to set up your information

·        Please bring any promotional material that you wish to use, including but not limited to: flyers / brochures / posters / business cards / banners / pens etc.

·        It is expected that at least one staff member will be available at the Expo to answer any questions that clients may have about the services/programs offered

·        If staff are unavailable to man the event, Organisations are able to set up a Static Display to promote their services & information (set up and take down of the static display will be the responsibility of the Organisation and cannot remain at the venue after the Expo is finished) -OR- Promotional material can be forwarded to us at the Geelong Office, and we will put this information in the event ‘show bags’ or out on a shared table of information (depending on content/size)

·        These events are catered, and afternoon tea is provided. If you have any specific dietary requirements please advise via email

·        CCEs are ‘place based engagement opportunities’, and as such it is expected that the clients who attend will be residents of the local community

·        Advertising: Members of the general public, including private home owners and renters(within the local area), will be advised of the event through various local promotion initiatives; for example: local newsletters, local services promoting the event, posters, Neighbourhood House website, word of mouth etc. Public Housing tenants (within the local area) will also receive a promotional flyer in the mail

·        Organisations are also encouraged to promote CCEs to their clients and networks where appropriate

Kind Regards,
